Super Bowl advertising to cost $100,000 a second

Advertisers are likely to pay up to $100,000 a second for slots during the television coverage of today's Super Bowl between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers.

Revenue from adverts during the game is expected to reach $210m and will smash the amount achieved last year.

Eminem, Justin Bieber, Ozzy Osbourne and Kim Kardashian are all set to make appearances in certain commercials tonight during the million and one ad-breaks scheduled for this evening.
