Liam Gallagher admits "reality check" after poor album sales

Liam Gallagher has been speaking to Spinner regarding the reality check he has had from the sales of the debut single - "The Roller".

The single which was released in January, charted at 31 but dropped to 68 in just one week; Gallagher said "It was a reality check. But that's the way it is". He went on defend the new album, which is currently sitting at number 3 in the midweek chart, saying that Beady Eye could be as big as Oasis.

For chart history fans, Beady Eye's debut single achieved the same chart position as Oasis' debut single "Supersonic"... That puts it all in perspective doesn't it?
